I hadn't received a Windows Update since I have been running Ultimate for about 10 months now because whenever I checked for errors, it kept saying Windows was up to date. I then installed the updates a few at a time and have had different problems with some of the updates, some of them causing BSOD's, some of them failing to boot Windows at all. All these system restore's and trying to find the dodgy updates ended up taking forever, but then again the Service Pack includes all of these updates so not sure whether thats related or not?
